We offer a wide range of new and used standard shipping containers for transport and storage, available in various sizes and types: 10, 20, 30, and 40 feet , in Dry (standard), High Cube (HC) , Open Top , and Open Side versions . With over 100 containers in stock and fast delivery, we can efficiently meet your urgent needs.
The main difference is the height . A standard DRY container has an external height of approximately 2,59 meters, while a High Cube (HC) container is taller, at approximately 2,89 meters. HC models offer nearly 10% more volume and are often preferred for conversions or for storing larger equipment.
Shipping containers are made of Corten steel to withstand extreme conditions. For its initial use as a transport container, a container lasts approximately 10 to 15 years. Converted into a static storage solution or a modular unit, its lifespan is extended and can easily exceed 25 years , provided minimal maintenance is performed.
The CSC ( Convention for Safe Containers ) plate is a mandatory international certification. It attests that the container complies with safety standards for maritime transport. Our design office is authorized to design the necessary reinforcements to obtain CSC maritime approval for your custom solutions.
-> Our Certifications
All our converted containers undergo rigorous inspection to guarantee they are perfectly watertight and airtight. We pay particular attention to the quality of the welds, the integration of the joinery, and the anti-corrosion treatment, notably through the use of specific industrial paints (NORSOK / ACQPA).
Handling a container requires appropriate equipment (crane truck, powerful forklift) depending on its size and location. We will advise you on the most suitable logistics for your site during the project validation phase.
As a specialist in technical solutions, Oxymontage holds numerous certifications that guarantee our products meet the most demanding requirements:
Yes, we are a recognized manufacturer of containers and shelters for extreme environments, including offshore. We design and manufacture A60 Shelter containers that meet the strictest fire protection and safety standards required on oil platforms and ships.
People generally refer to C4, C5 paint… which is a mistake.
This designation is actually a classification; it determines not the paint applied but the level of corrosivity of the environment where the container will be installed.
This classification is fundamental to choosing the paint system that will give the structure durability.
The C1 to CX classification is defined by the international standard NF EN ISO 12944-2.
Moderate urban and industrial atmospheres,
coastal areas with low salinity (Breweries, food industries).
Industrial and coastal areas with moderate salinity
(Chemical plants, shipyards).
Industrial areas with high humidity and pollution,
coastal areas with high salinity (permanent condensation).
Offshore zones with very high salinity
industrial regions with extreme humidity and pollution, tropical atmospheres.
Oxymontage's expertise: We select and apply NORSOK and ACQPA certified paint systems for the most demanding corrosivity levels (C4, C5, and CX), ensuring maximum long-term durability for your most critical solutions (Data Centers, Offshore equipment, military installations).
-> Our Painting Workshop
CR (for Resistance Class ) certification is a European standard (NF EN 1627-1630) that defines the resistance of building products (doors, windows, partitions) to break-in attempts. When we supply secure containers, we can certify them up to CR6.
-> Our burglar-proof containers
The process begins with an analysis of your specifications. Our design office (comprising seven designers) then creates detailed 3D plans (using Inventor software) for the integration of your equipment. We provide structural calculations and support plans before complete manufacturing in our workshops.

A converted container is a structural and functional transformation based on an existing structure: the standard ISO shipping container. A custom-built shelter is a completely new construction , designed from start to finish, to meet non-standard dimensions or constraints that the ISO standard cannot accommodate.

Absolutely. Customization is at the heart of our business. We offer a bespoke industrial painting service, using certified systems, so that your container or shelter perfectly aligns with your company's image or your project requirements. We can also integrate joinery, flooring (commercial, industrial), and specific equipment.
Urban planning regulations (PLU/POS) vary. Generally, a Prior Declaration of Works or a Building Permit is required depending on the floor area (the 20 m² threshold is often decisive) and the intended use.
It is essential to consult your town hall.
